Do I need to prepare any training data before starting work with getName.ai?

No, getName.ai is a fully ready-to-use tool that requires no preparation or training. The system operates based on knowledge built into large language models, which - as they say - have the entire internet encoded in them. This gives getName.ai a deep understanding of products from hundreds of industries and their properties. It works 24/7 as an advanced virtual specialist that automatically recognizes and categorizes attributes in product names and descriptions. It's ready to work from the first minute after launch, requiring no learning period or adaptation to your products.

How can my system communicate with getName.ai?

getName.ai offers an advanced REST API interface that enables seamless integration with your systems. Communication occurs in JSON format, where the required input parameters are the product description and category/product class identifier. In response, you receive a ready-to-import list of attributes with values, maintaining data types, correct units of measurement, and verified value ranges. The category identifier is a key element because it determines the set of attributes appropriate for a given product type - for example, power tools will require different attributes than lighting articles or building materials.

We have a PIM system - can it be connected to getName.ai?

Yes, getName.ai was designed with universal compatibility with PIM (Product Information Management) systems in mind. Integration is possible thanks to a flexible REST API interface and standard data exchange formats. The system offers the ability to customize the output format and support for various industry standards, along with attribute mapping options. Regardless of which PIM system you use, getName.ai can be integrated with it, automating the process of enriching product data.

Which product classification standards does getName.ai work with?

getName.ai supports a wide range of popular classification and attribution systems, including marketplaces such as Allegro, EMPIK, Ceneo, ERLI, Amazon, and eBay, as well as industry standards like ETIM (version 7 and newer). The list of supported systems is constantly expanding in response to market needs. If you use a classification that's not on the list, we encourage you to contact us - we'll gladly consider adding it to our system.

Over the years, we've created our own product categorization and attribution system. Can getName.ai "learn" it?

Yes, getName.ai can be adapted to your own classification system. This process includes importing your classification's data model and adapting recognition mechanisms to your specific needs, along with mapping attributes between systems. We conduct full verification of operational correctness and optimization of recognition accuracy. The cost of implementing your own classification depends on the chosen subscription plan, and we provide full technical support during the implementation process.

We use platform X for sales. Can we somehow integrate it with getName.ai?

Yes, getName.ai can be integrated with any e-commerce platform thanks to its universal REST API interface. Integration is possible regardless of the sales platform type, technology it was written in, data storage method, or information exchange format. The system was designed with maximum flexibility and compatibility with various e-commerce solutions in mind.

Do I need to specify which attributes I need separately for each product?

No, a one-time specification of the classification (e.g., Allegro, Ceneo, ETIM) and appropriate product class is sufficient. The system automatically selects the appropriate set of attributes, applies appropriate validation rules, maintains required data types, and respects value constraints while ensuring unit correctness. This automatic process eliminates the need for manual specification of required attributes for each product.

What if the marketplace only accepts specific values from a list for a given attribute?

getName.ai automatically adapts recognized values to the requirements of a given classification. The system verifies compliance with allowed values and maps detected values to permissible equivalents, handling multilingual value variants and dealing with synonyms and various forms of notation. This ensures 100% compliance with marketplace requirements, without the need for manual verification or data correction.

How can I be sure that the system will correctly recognize different types of attributes in my products?

getName.ai was designed with comprehensive handling of different attribute types in mind. The system automatically recognizes and correctly interprets numerical values, logical parameters, dictionary values, value ranges, and multiple values. It also handles complex attributes, for example when a product can have several values from an allowed dictionary. The system verifies data correctness against classification requirements and adapts the format to target system requirements, ensuring reliability and precision in the attribute recognition process.

What about units of measurement? I have different units in descriptions, sometimes inches, sometimes millimeters...

getName.ai offers an advanced automatic unit conversion system that can detect and convert units between different measurement systems. It doesn't matter whether your descriptions have values in metric, imperial, or other units - the system will recognize the source unit and automatically perform appropriate conversion to units required by the given classification. The system supports a wide range of measurement units and ensures precise calculations, maintaining value accuracy during conversion.

My suppliers send descriptions in Chinese. Can getName.ai handle this?

Yes, getName.ai was designed to recognize attributes regardless of the language used in the product description. The system can process and analyze product descriptions in various languages, including Chinese, without the need for prior translation. Thanks to advanced natural language processing algorithms, the system effectively extracts relevant information and attributes from multilingual descriptions, maintaining precision and accuracy in recognition.

How much text can I send in one product description?

The character limit in product descriptions is flexible and depends on your subscription plan. Depending on your package, you can send descriptions containing from 5,000 to 10,000 characters. This limit is designed to accommodate even the most extensive product descriptions while ensuring optimal system performance.

Instead of pasting a description, can I simply provide a link to the product on the website?

Yes, getName.ai has the functionality to automatically retrieve and analyze product descriptions directly from websites. However, it's important to note that despite the use of advanced scraping mechanisms, some websites may be protected against automatic data retrieval or have a structure that makes correct description extraction difficult. In such cases, the system will inform you about the problem, and an alternative solution will be to provide the product description in text form.

What about PDF catalog cards? I have loads of them...

getName.ai is fully adapted to analyze PDF files containing product catalog cards. You just need to provide the URL to the PDF file - the system will automatically download and analyze it. Files up to 50MB are supported, with the first 5 pages of the document being analyzed. For multi-page catalogs containing information about multiple products, we recommend providing links to individual product cards or delivering descriptions in text form, which will ensure the highest precision of data extraction.

On the product page, I have a table with multiple variants. How will getName.ai know which variant I'm interested in?

getName.ai has an advanced mechanism for recognizing and analyzing product variants. For websites or catalog cards containing tables with different variants of the same product, you just need to provide the code of the variant we're interested in along with the API request, in addition to the link to the page or PDF file. The system will automatically identify and analyze information only about the specified variant, ignoring other product versions, which ensures precise attribute extraction for the specific variant.

Do I need to check everything after getName.ai, or can I trust the results?

getName.ai operates with high precision thanks to advanced artificial intelligence algorithms and continuously developed machine learning mechanisms. However, as with any automatic AI tool, periodic quality control of results is recommended. The system is constantly improved and updated to ensure the highest possible accuracy of attribute recognition, but final verification of key data can be a valuable element of the quality control process.

I already have access to GPT-4. Can I somehow use it with getName.ai?

Yes, getName.ai offers flexible options for using language models. You can use your own GPT-4 access, which will allow you to significantly reduce subscription costs. The system operates in two variants: as a comprehensive solution based entirely on our resources in Microsoft Azure cloud, where we have full control over service performance and availability, or in a variant where you use your own API key. Using our comprehensive solution, you receive guaranteed performance, high availability, and security provided by Azure infrastructure, along with all its additional functionalities. If you decide to use your own API key, you need to ensure that your GPT-4 plan has sufficiently high limits to ensure smooth operation with getName.ai.

What are the costs of using getName.ai?

getName.ai offers a flexible subscription model adapted to different scales of operation, from small online stores to large e-commerce platforms. Prices start from 69 EUR net monthly when using your own API key for the language model, or from 169 EUR net monthly in the variant with our comprehensive solution. Each plan has specified query limits and available functionalities, and detailed plan specifications can be found in the "Subscription Plans" section. As your business grows, it's possible to smoothly transition to a higher plan or purchase additional query packages, providing full flexibility in using the tool.

Can getName.ai assign a product to the right class?

Currently, getName.ai focuses on recognizing attributes for a specified product class, which means you need to determine yourself which category a given product belongs to. This is a crucial step in the process that requires special attention. Incorrect class assignment will result in the system attempting to recognize an inappropriate set of attributes.

Let's take a look at Polish marketplace Allegro's classification as an example, where we can find two classes with identical names "Chairs":

Chairs [id: 316246] in the category "Children > Children's Room > Furniture" require specific attributes such as: Collection, Character/Cartoon, Gender, or Safety Information.

Chairs [id: 64519] in the category "Business and Services > Office and Advertising > Office Furniture" need completely different attributes: Maximum Load, Seat Width, Upholstery Material, Seat Depth, or Additional Features.

This example shows how crucial it is to properly assign a product to the appropriate class. Even if class names are identical, their context and required attributes can differ significantly. That's why it's so important to carefully analyze the classification structure and choose the right class for each product.

Fortunately, the process of choosing the right class only needs to be done once for a group of similar products. This not only saves time but also optimizes service costs, as you don't need to perform the same process repeatedly for analogous products.

I don't know what attributes should describe categories in my store. Can getName.ai help me with this?

getName.ai is not a tool for creating product classifications - this requires analysis of hundreds or thousands of products from a given category to properly determine the required attributes. getName.ai works based on existing classifications, such as Allegro, ETIM, or other marketplaces.

If you don't have your own product classification yet, we suggest using one of the ready-made standards available in getName.ai. Each of these classifications has been created based on years of experience and analysis of thousands of products. For example, if you sell power tools, you can see what attributes are required in ETIM classification or on Allegro for this category - it's a great starting point for creating your own attribute system.

Remember that the foundation of getName.ai's operation is always specifying which classification should be used for product description analysis. Only by knowing the classification context can the system properly recognize and assign appropriate attributes.
